Patrick Hess is a partner at the firm concentrating his practice in subrogation and warehouse law.

Since joining the firm in 2001, Mr. Hess has recovered more than 33 million dollars for his clients in property subrogation cases. His has extensive trial experience in jurisdictions throughout the country. He has also argued appeals before numerous state and federal courts. In 2007, Mr. Hess and partner Jeffrey Zehe obtained a $63,335,000 judgment in favor of their client in the Wisconsin case of Quad/Graphics, Inc., et. al v. HK Systems, Inc., et. al. .

Mr. Hess has represented warehouses in litigation and contract matters across the United States. He defends warehouses from legal actions brought against them, including depositor actions for lost, damaged or destroyed goods. He has advised 3PLs on contract matters ranging from limitation of liability to cross-docking contracts.

Mr. Hess lives in Oak Park, Illinois, with his wife Stacey and their three children. He is an active volunteer in professional, church and youth-sports activities, serving on the Chicago Bar Association Judicial Evaluation Committee, serving on the school board for Ascension Catholic School and coaching youth soccer.
